The interface characteristics and microstructure formation of TA2-5083 composite plate after explosive welded were studied. Optical microscope electron used to analyze the intermetallic compounds. Furthermore, ANSYS/AUTODYN was adopted calculate simulated by smooth-particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method. results show that most molten metal in wave front stays wave-waist region. There a relative velocity difference between vortex titanium tissue, resulting broken particles being scoured vortexes. Ti3Al generated vortex, whose antioxidant capacity wound lead cracks. Consider soldering vacuum environment or adding an intermediate layer reduce interfacial defects. temperature outer higher than inner has transition 5 μm, which is thinner 10 μm fly base plate. jet mostly composed aluminum, with reaching 3000 m·s−1 rising up 2100 K. Compared wave-back at higher, thicker bonding surface.
